Proud to be an Alpha Gam!

O My Goodness I am now a member of Alpha Gamma Delta!!!!!!!!! I could not have imagined joining a better group of girls. When I started the recruitment process I thought I was going to meet some great new friends, but I really meet my second family! I am so happy with my decision.

So it has been awhile. I have had a busy few weeks. Well months but it has been great. I went to cedar point with my fellow AGD sisters and Aman and we had a great time. We worked in the haunted house for three days jumping out of coffins, banging trashcans, screaming, and anything else you can think you might do to scare people. We had to either wear awful sweaty masks or face paint that made you break out. Lol good times. Anways now we are back and having voting for positions for next semester. I am up for Philanthropy, Public relations, Risk Management, and sisterhood coordinator. I am not sure if I am going to run for risk management or not but I really want sisterhood. The chances of getting any of them those are slim because there are at least four plus girls also running for each position and that includes new members and actives. I would love be have a position but I am okay with not. Anyways I am just trying to keep up with everything and not get overwhelmed by school work. :)

Thursday night I had my Bid Day Party which was amazingly fun and tiring. The theme was Beauty and the Geek. We had the party with another sorority and two other fraternities. Today I went to tailgating and actually went into the game. First game at CMU. Then my twin, Big sister, and two other sisters went out to eat. I had such a fun time with them. I had to go back and we went to the play "Escanaba in da Moonlight." It was so funny and I had a lot of fun. I went with Aman and Marah (the yooper). I am having such a great time these past two weeks but I am also having the busiest time ever. I have had two mid-terms Monday and two next week. I have something to do every night this week. I have my big/little "study" session tonight then T-pain training at 9. Tomorrow I have study session and I have to shop for a white dress for my new member thing. Thursday I am so excited because I have my new member party. I have the most beautiful dress ever to wear and I am so excited to show it off. That is about it with my life right now. :) Love everyone

Last night had to have been one of the best nights of my life. Genesis concert!!!!!!! It was so much fun. My dad, mom, Pammie, and I had floor seats. I wish we could have seen a little better, but the music was great. The best thing about Phil Collins is that his music is just as good live as it is on his CD's. Singers now a day have a lot of technology that changes or alters their voice where you can tell Phil Collins does not need to change his voice like that. He is an amazing performer! I LOVED THE CONCERT and am sad it is done. That was the last time I will ever see Phil Collins live in concert again. TEAR. BUT IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!

Homecoming

Today was homecoming and I had a blast! I got to meet my grand big and I love her. I also went tailgating with my yellow rose family and found new sides to all my sisters. My twin rocks let me just say that. I thought this would be my first real CMU game I have gone to but we ended up staying outside until 2pm tailgating(the game started at 12pm). After that no one went to the game so I just went back and took a well needed 2 1/2 hour nap! I had an awesome time and tomorrow is GENESIS so I am even more pumped. I need to get rested for that but I am going over to the house from 11pm to probably 2pm do we will see. Did I mention I love my new sister?

So I am very excited. It is Gray's anatomy night at the Alpha Gamma Delta house and I am going to go watch it on our big screen tv! After my big sister, Sammi, Aman, and all the other AGD girls are heading to either the pub or waste side. O and I also met my big brother(who is actually a little younger than myself). He is in the house next door and is really nice. I am so excited to get to know all these girls!!!

So I am now officially a pledge for Alpha Gamma Delta!!!!! I am a squirrel/Lady in Red/Alpha Gam. . . I went through recruitment not sure who I liked until the last night when I meet Sammi(my now Big sister!!!) She made me love this group and now I am so excited to join. Marah is also a pledge in a sorority, Alpha Sigma Tau. She is so happy. All we need to do is get Aman to do it. I had her go to the AGD house just to check it out and see what she thought and she loved them! She wants to wait until next semester, which is good but I really would love it if she is in my pledge class! Whatever I am excited and think this is going to be fun, though I am going to be super busy this semester.

First Blog

Alright here is my first blog. I am going to be 20 in a few days and I am so excited. I guess I do not usually type my feelings but I guess I will try to now. Actually there is nothing else I need to write so there is my first blog.
